Hi, I’m Eva. I began my journey as a UX designer and researcher back in the classroom, as a 5th grade math teacher in the South Bronx. Though I did not have the term for it yet, it was human-centered design that allowed me to understand how each of my students learned and functioned best in the classroom. I also applied UX principles in my next roles on the founding team of an education non-profit start-up and at the NYC Department of Education, advocating for our students and educators, getting to the bottom of how we can better serve them through the use of technology and data.
Today, I work at SYPartners, a transformation consultancy. We help leaders, teams, and organizations build the capability to transform into more vibrant versions of themselves—so they can grow with purpose, and have a positive impact in the world. My love of creating the best possible experience for people stems from my curiosity for learning what makes people tick.
Outside of work, I’m most likely at Pilates, teaching yoga, or discovering new dishes at my favorite restaurants in New York City, a true creature of habit.
